A Drill-to-Mill integration and optimization study was requested to increase the mill throughput at a platinum mine in Africa. The HPGR circuit is added to the circuit to upgrade the production 30 %, the operational conditions optimised by addressing the bottlenecks causing the high wear rate, the circuit design was completed by selecting the proper screen aperture and at the end of the project the 35% capacity increase with 18% energy saving achieved.
